No One Deserves Abuse!
Every woman's story is different, but all women have the right to live fulfilling, hope-filled, and productive lives free from terror, intimidation, and abuse.
Why I Wrote this Book?
I am T. Ann DeCarlo, a survivor of domestic abuse. A few years after escaping my abuser, I began to question the whole abuse experience. I started with what attracted me to this man in the first place and what forces kept me with him for so long. My attempts to answer these, and the many questions that followed, marked the beginning of a years-long journey of research and discovery. What I learned changed how I looked at the world, relationships, and, most importantly, myself.
As time went on, I realized if I had access to this information back then, I would have, at best, walked away from my future husband long before we married. At worst, I would have left my marriage years before I did. Either way, I would have avoided untold amounts of misery.
When I realized that the fruits of my journey could help others embark on their own path, I began creating No More Abuse. By drawing on my years of experience as an abused spouse, the insights I gained through therapy, my exploration of various methods of healing, and the expertise of numerous trained experts on the subject, I give fellow abused women the tools and knowledge I wish I had when I needed them.

Abuse survivor and strong,
independent woman
This is a book that should be put into everyone’s hands, for it serves two purposes. First, it educates all those who know nothing about spouse abuse; secondly, it educates those who may not know they are being abused or are actively living with an abuser and have not found an escape route. The book is precise, objective, and well-written, with advice gained from experience for how to escape circumstances and build a new and independent life. This author found the courage to do that for herself and to write a book that would help others gain an optimistic future.
